Information for Presenters
  • Projectors, screens, a place to put YOUR laptop, and extension cords will be provided. We do not generally provide a microphone for breakout sessions unless you let us know that you are very soft-spoken and cannot be heard without one. If there is a microphone in your room, please use it. It is not about your liking or not liking using a microphone, it is about ensuring that everyone can hear.
  • Since there is more than one presentation and more than one presenter in each concurrent breakout session, you will be sharing the time among those presenting in that scheduled time and in the order that the presentations appear in the agenda. You will have approximately 14 minutes for your presentation. A moderator will be in each session to help manage time.
  • To save time, please be in your presentation room a minimum of 10 minutes before the session is scheduled to start. We recommend that you collaborate with the other presenters to share one computer by loading all presentations onto it. Please do not try to run your presentation from a thumb drive as it may be slow in loading.
  • If you are using video, you should contact [email protected] as soon as possible. Also, there is LIMITED internet in these meeting rooms. Call (727) 940-2658 x 2004 right away to discuss any LIVE internet needs.
